Tamás István Krébesz (M’10) received the MSc degree in electrical engineering from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) in 2007. He is working toward the PhD degree at the Department of Measurement and Information Systems, BME.
He is presently University Lecturer at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary. He was awarded Outstanding Young University Teacher Award by the Department of Measurement and Information Systems, BME in 2015. He has been an academic visitor and research assistant to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2009, 2012 and 2013 and to INSA-LATTIS Laboratory, Toulouse, France in 2009 and 2010. Tamas Istvan Krebesz serves the IEEE-Hungary Section as Chair of Circuits, Systems & Computers Joint Chapter.
He has been providing consulting service for multinational corporations (e.g. National Instruments, Continental, Enersys). His research and professional interest include ultra-wide band radio, chaos communications, networking devices of embedded systems and automated measurement systems providing traceability.
